Cities on Volcanoes is an event for the public not just volcanologists. You can participate, especially in the roundtable sessions. More information.

This event will have the intention of integrating groups of geoscientists, the general public, and persons involved with all aspects of risk evaluation and mitigation. We hope to promote interaction as much as possible. The meeting will consist of four symposiums, each of which will have various sessions including round-table discussions.

Also it will include an intra-meeting field trip which will visit key locations related to volcanic risk management in Colima. There will be pre and post meeting excursions to other volcanic zones of Mexico and various workshops covering different topics. Additionally we will have cultural events like exhibitions of photos, art, music etc. related to volcanoes.
